Release: FLOWSTER Studio 4.5.1
FLOWSTER Studio is now available in version 4.5.1. The free update includes enhancements to the Administrator, Designer and Portal modules. The IT automation platform now offers both optimized application options and new features.
FLOWSTER Studio version 4.5.1 delivers an even broader range of deployment options. The already extensive activities have been further expanded. These include the following areas:
- Network (control of Infoblox and Algosec FireFlow now possible)
- Cloud Computing (Amazon AWS EC2)
- ITSM (Jira – creating, editing and deleting users)
- Linux (SCP file transfer)
- Windows (querying event logs with other users and specifying target system and user in PowerShell activity)
- Server Infrastructure (Cisco UCS)
Multi-Tenancy
The most important innovation in the Administrator module is multi-tenancy. Each tenant now receives their own database with exclusive access rights. Additionally, Execution Agents can be exclusively assigned to a tenant.
Improved Usability
In addition to user permissions, the management and configuration of the Administrator module has been comprehensively expanded. This primarily improves the handling of parameters, global variables, scripts and forms. For example, searching large Active Directories (AD) on the FLOWSTER Studio Portal form is significantly simplified by introducing an AD Search Box.
Designer Improvements
The FLOWSTER Designer has also been revised with version 4.5.1. By enabling the deactivation of unused activity libraries, the Designer now offers more performance. Various bug fixes have also been implemented.
Portal Updates
The Portal module in FLOWSTER Studio has also received several updates. As part of multi-tenancy, multi-domain functionality is now also available. Additionally, more precise scheduling of workflows is now guaranteed.
